LUSS boxer Hannah Rankin will be behind the mic at the Paris Olympics later this year.
The former Hermitage Academy pupil announced this week that she will be part of the Olympic Broadcasting Services commentary team for the boxing competition at the Games.
Posting the news on her Instagram account, Rankin said: “I’m very proud to be part of such an exciting project - watch this space for future updates.”
It’s far from the first time the 33-year-old has moved from the ring into the commentary box - she was part of the BBC Radio 5 Live commentary team for a triple bill of world title fights in London last June, and has also worked with Sky Sports.
The Paris boxing competitions will be held at the Roland-Garros Stadium - more used to hosting tennis than boxing - between July 27 and August 10.
