HELENSBURGH'S Gordon Reid has won a first Australian Open doubles title with partner Alfie Hewett.
The wheelchair tennis star and his fellow Brit Hewett picked up the top prize in Melbourne on Friday following a 4-6, 6-4, (10-7) victory over old foes Stephane Houdet and Nicolas Peifer, from France.
The British duo are now seven-time Grand Slam doubles champions.
Reid is also in the frame for a second crown down under as he faces Japan's top seed Shingo Kunieda in the men's singles final later this weekend for a chance to claim his first Grand Slam singles title since Wimbledon in 2016.
