LUSS boxing world champion Hannah Rankin is returning to the ring next month.
The 28-year-old announced the news on Friday afternoon after signing a deal with Brooklyn-based Salita Promotions.

Rankin's first fight since her IBO super welterweight title-winning bout against Sarah Curran in June will take place in Flint, Michigan, on Saturday, October 5.
She became Scotland's first female boxing world champion after her points victory over Curran at the Lagoon Centre in Paisley.

A social media post by Salita Promotions said they were "delighted to sign one of the best female fighters in the world."
