SO I walked into the dancing studio filled with apprehension and wondering if my thighs could take another battering like last week.
Much to my surprise (and delight) the moves were in fact easier this time around, and I found myself in less precarious positions than the previous Tuesday.
However one thing that wasn't easier was the boot camp style workout in the middle of the class, which proved tougher than ever as the reps increased and one push up felt like a lifetime.
But I soldered through and soon enough it was time to back onto the poles for the last 20 minutes to perfect the moves taught at the beginning of the block, until - ouch - I pulled a muscle between my right arm and shoulder.
Although it was pretty sore at the time, and put paid to my sensational swinging, I have since recovered, you'll be pleased to know.
Plenty of stretching and I'm as good as new, and raring for next week's session!
