Christmas and New Year is finally upon us!
The festive period is a time for family and loved ones, and I hope you are all able to relax and enjoy this year’s Christmas break.
While I hope that most of us are able to enjoy a break over the Christmas period, I would like to thank all those who work in our emergency services, our Armed Forces, our local businesses, and everyone else who will continue to serve our communities over the winter months.
But at this time of year, it is also important to remember those less fortunate, including those who have had a challenging 2023, and those who will be unable to celebrate over the festive period.
Wherever you are, and however you choose to celebrate, I would like to wish you a very happy Christmas and a fantastic new year.
