TRAINS in Helensburgh are facing major disruption due to a safety inspection of the tracks.
The line between Helensburgh Central and Edinburgh has been partially shut due to a safety inspection of the track between Dumbarton Central and Dumbarton East.
Network Rail have advised people that trains running between Dalmuir and Dalreoch may be cancelled, delayed or revised as the disruption is expected until 12pm.
ScotRail have confirmed that specialist engineers are currently on the way and that replacement buses have been requested, but not yet confirmed.
