A SUPERMARKET in Helensburgh is calling on the community to help with its Christmas Toy Appeal.
Helensburgh Tesco Express is encouraging people to give a child a smile this Christmas with a special gift.
People who wish to donate a gift for a child from newborn aged to 16 years have until December 16 to drop it off instore.
Numerous schools in the town including John Logie Baird Primary, St Joseph's Primary, Hermitage Primary and Hermitage Academy are on hand to help distribute the gifts received.
And Santa will be making a special stop in the shop on Sinclair Street to promote the campaign on Saturday, November 29.
Staff member Angela Black said: "As a proud part of the Helensburgh community, we’re delighted to support the local schools by collecting toys for children in need.
"The festive season is all about coming together, and we believe every child deserves to experience the magic and joy of Christmas morning.
"We’re inviting our wonderful customers, along with the wider community, to help us make a difference.
"Every toy donated through this campaign will bring happiness and hope to a child who needs it most.
"Together with Tesco, let’s spread kindness and make this Christmas truly unforgettable for those in need while we serve our customers and communities a little better everyday."
