POLICE have traced a missing Ayrshire man after they confirmed a sighting of him near Loch Lomond.
William Barclay, 54, was reported missing on September 28, but had not been seen since August 25 in Newmilns.
On November 11, police confirmed a sighting of him in Arrochar that was caught on CCTV.
A police spokesperson said: "We can confirm that William Barclay, 54, who was reported missing from Ayrshire has been traced safe and well.
"Thank you to everyone who shared our earlier appeals."
