REMEMBRANCE services will be held across Helensburgh and Lomond this weekend as the area pays its respects to its fallen war heroes.
In Helensburgh, music will be provided by the West of Scotland Military Wives Choir following a service, silence and wreath laying in the town, while events will also take place at village memorials and churches elsewhere.
Here are the full details ahead of Remembrance Sunday, November 10:
Helensburgh
- Service at war memorial in Hermitage Park: veterans invited to join muster at 10.15am in roadway above Park Pavilion, public asked to gather in memorial garden from 10.20am to be in by 10.40am
- Two minutes' silence at 11am followed by wreath laying
- In the event of inclement weather the service will take place in the Victoria Halls.
Rhu and Shandon
- Wreath laying will begin in Rhu at 10.30am on Sunday morning, followed by a service at Rhu and Shandon Parish Church at 10.50am and then a period of silence at 11am
- Wreath laying at Rhu and Shandon war memorial will follow at 12 noon.
Garelochhead
- Service to be held at Garelochhead Parish Church at 10.45am.
Rosneath
- Service at St Modan's Parish Church at 10.45am
- Service at Rosneath Castle Caravan Park cairn at 2pm.
Cove and Kilcreggan
- Service at Craigrownie Parish Church at 9.45am, followed by an act of Remembrance at the Cove and Kilcreggan war memorial.
Arrochar and Tarbet
- Act of Remembrance at Arrochar war memorial from 10.45am to 11.10am.
Luss
- Service at Luss Parish Church starts at 10am, followed by wreath laying.
