PEOPLE in Rhu and Shandon are being invited to an annual craft fair to raise vital cash towards a church tower.
Rhu and Shandon Parish Church are holding their craft fair on Saturday, November 9 in the building's halls from 10am until 4pm.
Stall holders at the event will include speciality teas and salts, fused glass, crocheted items, jewellery, bunting, candles, handmade cards, hand-knitted items, Christmas crafts, calendars and photographs and homemade preserves.
Entry is free and tea/coffee and home-baking will be available at a charge of £3.
The congregation launched a fund-raising campaign in October last year in a bid to raise enough money to carry out essential repairs to the tower of the handsome church building.
The tower of the 175-year-old building is suffering from decades of exposure to the wind, rain and salty sea air.
As the campaign enters its next phase, organisers are renewing their plea to residents and businesses to continue their support to reach the goal.
For more updates or to offer donations for the tombola at the craft fair, visit the church's Facebook page.
