THE skies above Helensburgh were lit up in spectacular fashion on Sunday night as an organised Bonfire Night fireworks display made its annual grand return to the area.

The event, organised by the members of Helensburgh HEART, saw crowds of all ages take to the outdoors to get a good view of the action, with some families enjoying the organised display for the first time.

"We rely on your generous donations to keep the event going each year, with additional funds going towards local causes.

"A massive thanks to GSS Plant Ltd, Midnight Storm fireworks, Double Polaroid Video and Helensburgh Clan Colquhoun Pipe band amongst the many parties that helped make this our 3 Heart event this year."
