A RHU pre-school under threat of being homeless has found a new space to help its families.
KangaRhu ELCC lost its home of 17 years when the Ministry of Defence announced they needed the building back for new navy families.
We reported in September that the pre-school was told earlier this term that it had until October 16.
Now it has relocated to Rhu and Shandon Community Centre and opened on Monday, October 28.
Councillor Maurice Corry, who has a grandson at KangaRhu, said he was "delighted" that it had made a "smooth, seamless transfer".

"We're very grateful to the hall committee for allowing them to come in and use the halls accommodation," he said.
"It means that we can maintain the pre-school for service families and veterans' families in the local area of Shandon and Rhu.
"And I'm delighted to say that I was able to support them as much as I could in this transition. I'd also like to compliment the Care Inspectorate for being efficient in getting the approval status done for the new location.
"And above all I want to say a big thank you to Anne King, the principal and owner of the nursery, for all the work she did along with her family and others to make the move so seamless.
"And with the doors now opened, I'm delighted to say it all seems to be going well."
Cllr Corry also added thanks to Sue Thornley, chair of the community centre committee, for "such accommodating spirit".
He added: "I wish Anne King and KangaRhu all the best and I'm sure it'll go from strength to strength."
Sue Thornley said: "The Rhu Hall committee is delighted to welcome KangaRhu back to their original home and hope that they will be happy using our lovely building."
Argyll and Bute Council said KangRhu has a current registry of 10 children and is funded by the local authority as an early learning centre.
They added: "This is an interim arrangement until the owner can find new premises."
