ORGANISERS of a Christmas Fayre in Cove have received a very generous donation ahead of their charity fundraiser.
As previously reported, the Cove and Kilcreggan branch of the RNLI are hosting the Lifeboat Christmas Fayre on Saturday, November 9.
However, the group have recently been gifted a field scope and a tripod by a kind donor to help raise money for the charity.
Both of the items come with their boxes and are in pristine condition for a potential nature or space enthusiast.
The items combined have a retail price in excess of £300 new and the committee of the group would like to make a minimum of £100 for both products.
There will also be gifts, baking, new and nearly new items on sale, together with RNLI Christmas cards and goods.
Tea or coffee and mince pies or shortbread are included in the £3.50 entry price at the event in Cove Burgh Hall from 11am to 1pm.

Organisers have confirmed that they are willing to sell it ahead of the fundraiser if the right offers comes in in advance of the sale.
The combination would make a fantastic Christmas gift for those who love to watch all the comings and goings on the Clyde, observe wildlife in their garden, as well as detailed viewing in the field.
All the money raised will go directly to the RNLI, supporting its volunteers to continue saving lives at sea.
Anyone interested in getting their hands on this exciting combo should email julesandfi@btinternet.com with RNLI Field Scope in the subject line - the committee would prefer to sell the items as a pair and will acknowledge emails, collate interest and contact the highest bidder.
