A VOLUNTEER group in Helensburgh is inviting park users to its next meeting.
Friends of Hermitage Park is holding a park user's group meeting at the Pavilion on Wednesday, November 6 at 1.30pm.
It will be a chance for people to ask questions and give suggestions on improving the use of the park in the town.
Earlier this year, the hard-working group announced that it had stepped in after the sudden closure of the Park Pavilion Cafe and Kiosk was announced on social media in the early hours of July 29.
Local residents were left shocked and saddened by news of the cafe's closure.
The cafe opened in the spring of 2021 following the completion of the pavilion building, believed to be the first non-residential structure in Scotland to have been completed to the high Passivhaus design standards.
