DATES for a popular festival of races around Loch Lomond have been announced by organisers.
The Run Loch Lomond 10k and 5K races see runners locally and from all over Scotland sign up to run amongst the beautiful surroundings of Balloch Castle Country Park.
Organisers West Dunbartonshire Leisure Trust have confirmed that the races for 2025 will take place on Saturday, June 21.
The event draws large crowds, with those completing the finish line earning their medal, race t-shirts, and goodie bags.
Early bird registration has now opened, but spaces are limited, so those who want to take part should register now at runlochlomond.com.
And the Fun Run has returned for young runners who want to test their fitness levels.
The distance is around one mile for the older age groups and there is a shorter route for younger participants, with the routes for both off road and through the country park.
The Fun Run kicks things off at 9am, followed by the 10k at 10am and the 5k at 10.20am.
Last year more than 1,200 runners from across Scotland had signed up and took part in the 2024 event.
Entries for the 10k and 5k close at 10am on June 19.
