A MAN has been arrested following drugs and cash worth £29k were discovered by police at Oban properties.
Cops searched a home on Longsdale Terrace around 3pm on Wednesday, October 23 and came across cocaine.
Police say it had an estimated street value of around £4,700 and over £1,000 cash was seized.
Officers later searched a premises in the Glencruitten area and recovered a further £24,000 in cash.
A 44-year-old was charged in connection with the Class A drug discovery and is due to appear at Oban Sheriff Court on Wednesday, November 13.
Detective Inspector Peter MacMillan said: "We are determined to protect the public from harmful criminality by disrupting sale of illegal substances, preventing them from being circulated on the streets of our community.
“Information from the public is crucial to our work and we ask anyone with knowledge about drugs activity in their area to contact Police Scotland on 101."
