PEOPLE in Helensburgh with a love for Scottish dancing are invited to a social event next month.

Helensburgh's Royal Scottish Country Dance Society (RSCDS) are holding their next social dance on Saturday, November 19 in the town's church hall at 7.30pm.

The group had their first dance of the season on Saturday, October 19 where 70 dancers enjoyed the music of the Ian Muir duo.

However, for those who wish to get some practise in first, they have have also also resumed their regular Scottish dance classes in Helensburgh Church Hall on Mondays for beginners and dancers of all levels and Thursdays for experienced dancers at 7.30pm.

There is no need for a partner - just come along with soft shoes and a big smile.
