It's time for the last beach clean of the year at Kilcreggan.
Organisers are inviting volunteers to meet at the Kilcreggan bus shelter from 10.30am on Saturday, November 2 for the regular effort.
They thanked locls for their "fantastic efforts" during 2024 for the "real difference" they made to the area.
"A big cleanup after the recent storm will set us up nicely for all the informal litter clearing that goes on day in and day out, whatever the weather," they told the Advertiser.
"We ask that people bring their own gloves. If you have litter pickers or bin bag hoops, these can also be very helpful."
Bin bags courtesy Argyll and Bute Council will be provided and filled ones will be returned to the junction of Shore Road and Ford Road. The council will collect them.
The community effort runs until 12pm. Regular beach cleans should return in April 2025.
