YOUNG farmers who created field art near Cardross to highlight mental health awareness have won a national award.
The Advertiser reported last week how the Loch Lomond Young Farmers Club had created bale art near Geilston Farm to encourage passers-by to speak up about their health.
Today the club announced they won the National Bale Art competition as part of the SAYFC's (Scottish Association of Young Farmers Clubs) "Are Ewe Okay?" campaign.
The club said: "We are delighted to have won National Bale Art this year.
"RSABI is a charity close to our hearts and we wanted to create a simple bale art message to raise awareness of the incredible work they carry out, and promote their keep talking campaign.
"Congratulations to all other competitors - it has been great to see the creativity from each club all trying to promote speaking up about mental health - a powerful campaign from young farmers across Scotland."
