TWO people have been arrested for alleged drug offences in Argyll and Bute.
A man and a woman were charged after a police search warrant at an address in Lochgilphead on Monday, October 7.
The man, aged 48, and a 51-year-old woman were arrested and charged after the operation in Blarbuie Road.
Both were due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on October 8.
Detective Inspector David Lavery, Dumbarton CID, said: “This operation underlines our commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s serious organised crime strategy.
“As our enquiries continue I would like to reassure the public that we remain wholly committed to disrupting drugs supply and will taken any action necessary to rid our local communities of the misery drugs cause.
“We rely on the support of the public to help combat this. Anyone with information regarding drugs in their community should contact us though 101. Alternatively Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
