CHARITY shoppers in Helensburgh are being offered the chance to discover fashion treasure in an exciting collaboration.
Cult fashion brand AllSaints will be partnering with Shelter Scotland to host sustainable fashion events across 30 of the charity's retail shops this month - including the town's store on West Princes Street.
To mark the fashion brand’s 30th birthday celebrations and World Homeless Day on October 10, AllSaints will donate 5,000 pieces of quality womenswear, menswear and accessories, including one-of-a-kind pieces, samples and items from past collections.
There will also be ‘the best of Shelter Scotland’ items, which include designer and vintage pieces handpicked for the events.
Alison Watson, director of Shelter Scotland, said: “We are really delighted to be partnered with AllSaints, and to be part of their 30th birthday celebrations.
"We’re grateful for their ongoing donations and the support of their teams nationwide. This event feels extra-special and we can’t wait to see what our customers make of it.
“With record levels of homelessness, rising rents and more and more children forced to grow up without a safe home, our charity shops have an important job to do. Every time you shop with Shelter Scotland, you are supporting our fight for home.”
The highlight of the event will be the chance for shoppers in Helensburgh to unearth some real fashion treasure - with one special golden ticket item planted in the store.
These golden ticket items will be AllSaints gems, handpicked by the brand’s design director and ‘hidden’ for savvy shoppers to discover.
Catherine Jobling, COO of AllSaints, said: “We are passionate about making sure our brand is a force for positivity and change, and working with Shelter Scotland is an important part of that.
"This year is particularly special for AllSaints as we celebrate our 30th anniversary and we wanted to celebrate in ways that felt significant and genuinely meaningful. We’re really looking forward to seeing people enjoying discovering items in store.”
