A SPECIAL evening of song is set for Helensburgh this weekend - and it's a global affair.
Helensburgh Parish Church are hosting a Friendship Choir Concert in support of Alzheimer Scotland.
The event will feature music from Scotland and Sweden, reuniting the the Helensburgh Family Singers with Swedish Choir Sollerökören, who are making a welcome return to the town.
Helensburgh Brain Health and Dementia Resource Centre manager Anne-Marie King said: “We are thrilled that the Friendship Choir Concert has chosen to highlight and support the work that we do, and would like to give thanks to Tony Kent, and colleagues, who have arranged the concert.”
Admission is by donation and the concert starts at 7pm on October 6.
