HELENSBURGH and Lomond families looking for some Hallowe'en fun can treat themselves to a day of child-friendly activities in Luss this month.

Loch Lomond Faerie Trail will be transforming into the ‘Loch Lomond Scary Trail’ from Friday, October 4 until Thursday, October 31.

Full of spooky surprises, children will receive an activity sheet and will be tasked with solving clues in the path throughout the forest.

There will also be a pop-up pumpkin patch where families can buy pumpkins to carve.

The trail and pumpkin patch will be shut every Tuesday and Wednesday excluding Hallowe'en.

Visitors are asked to dress for the weather with wellies strongly advised and torches recommended for afternoon bookings.

Guests are also encouraged to dress up in their Hallowe'en best.

A spokesperson said: "Something spooky is happening in Loch Lomond this October. Join us on our trail through the eerie ancient forest solving clues in your activity guides as you go.

"Watch out for creepy crawlies! The trail will lead you into Faerie Tale Farm where our farm friends are waiting to meet you.

"Our pop up pumpkin patch is located within our farm park where you can purchase your own pumpkins to carve and of course take lots of spooky snaps."

Tickets cost £9.50 each and under 2s go free.

The price includes entry to Loch Lomond Scary Trail, Faerie Tale Farm Park, and the pop-up pumpkin patch.
