A MAN was taken to hospital following an alleged late night serious assault on a Loch Lomond beach.
The 31-year-old alleged victim, from Cleland in North Lanarkshire, was left seriously injured during a reported attack on a beach north of Luss at around 11.15pm on Friday, September 27.
Police say that a 37-year-old man from the same area as the male had an offensive weapon in a public place during the incident.
The alleged victim was taken to hospital for treatment where his condition remains unknown.
The man has been reported to the procurator fiscal and released on an undertaking to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court at a later date.
