VILLAGERS in Cardross are set to hold their latest beach clean along the shores of the village next weekend.
Volunteers are being invited to gather at the shore car park on Station Road at 10am on Saturday, October 5.
Bags will be provided, but participants are asked to bring their own gloves and pickers if possible.
Gloves, bags and litter-picking hand-grabbers will be provided, and all ages are welcome to take part.
And the Cardross clean-up isn’t the only event happening locally in the coming days – Helensburgh Community Council is organising a similar event this Saturday, September 28 at 10am.
For this occasion, they have a skip that they hope to fill to commemorate the last clean of the summer season.
Equipment will be provided but volunteers are asked to wear waterproof shoes and bring their own pair of gloves.
