AN OPENING date for Helensburgh's new Domino's takeaway store has been revealed.

The pizza chain has announced that its latest outlet on West Princes Street will open on September 30.

It has replaced the eco-friendly refill store Rossdhu Refills which closed in May 2022, but the venture began as Zero Waste Helensburgh in 2019.

The store will create 20 jobs for the area and the business is currently hiring for delivery drivers.

The store will be open 11am-11pm seven days a week.

Ben Wood, regional manager of the Helensburgh store said: “We’re excited to come to Helensburgh, to deliver the nation’s favourite pizza.

"The new store means we can offer closer collection for customers along with improved delivery times.

"We are passionate about enhancing our new community with employment opportunities, where people from Helensburgh can grow and develop their careers.

"Over 90 percent of Domino’s store managers started in-store or as a delivery driver, so whether you’re looking for a few extra hours or a completely new career path, there are roles to suit everyone.”
