AN ACCLAIMED chef and star of MasterChef: The Professionals is set to host a series of five-course dining events this autumn at Cameron House on Loch Lomond.
Starting from this weekend, Sunday, September 29, Rohan Wadke is inviting guests on a culinary journey from Indonesia to Malaysia with a menu designed to embrace and celebrate the tantalising essence of South-East Asian cuisine.
Diners will be guided through the sights, scents and sounds of Eastern Asia with an expertly crafted five-course set menu, where each dish takes inspiration from Rohan’s heritage and culinary background working within some of the UK’s finest restaurants.
Set within the luxury hotel's elegant dining space, The Monarch Room, guests will experience a fusion of flavours with standout dishes including moilee soup with toasted masala brioche; Scottish hand-dived scallops in a Thai lemongrass and red broth with masala crumbs; and Batata and apricot tikka chaat with potato and apricot croquettes, spiced yoghurt and a mint chutney.
Catering to all, there will also be a curated vegan menu, complete with crispy spinach, cauliflower and kale chaat; Rohan’s auntie’s dal tadka; and Melrose apple crumble with Madagascan vanilla ice cream.
Set to the backdrop of the stunning loch, select dates are available from September 29 to November 16.
Priced at £70 per person (or £90 with wine pairings), bookings are now available at cameronhouse.co.uk.
