A special week of events is coming to Helensburgh and Lomond to help tackle loneliness in older people.
The Big Braw Brew Week, organised by charity Age Scotland and Helensburgh's own Grey Matters Active Ageing, is on from October 19 -25 for people over 50 and there will be free tea, coffee and cake throughout.
The event to launch the week will take place on Saturday, October 19 at Helensburgh Parish Hall from 10.30am until 12.30pm where there will be entertainment and information stalls.
People are invited to drop in for energy and benefits advice at Arrochar on Monday, October 21, Cardross on Wednesday, October 23 or Garelochhead on Thursday, September 24.
There will also be a body boosting bingo event in Helensburgh on Sunday, October 20 or the following day in Arrochar.
And not to forget the bookable brunch at Garelochhead on Tuesday, October 22 and a lunch in Helensburgh on October 25.
