A TEENAGER was arrested for 'dangerous driving' near a fast food restaurant in Balloch at the weekend.

The 19-year-old, from Alexandria, allegedly failed to stop for police at around 7.45pm on Saturday, September 14.

He was later placed in handcuffs on the A811 near McDonald's in Balloch for several alleged driving offences.

Police say that he drove without a valid licence and insurance.

He was held in custody to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court at a later date.
