A BODY has been found on a Luss hill following a search for a missing Glasgow man.
Darren Pollock disappeared from the Pollok area of the city on Thursday, August 29.
Police officers in Glasgow received a report that the body of a man had been found on Coille-eughain hill in Luss at around 11.45am on September 15.
He has not yet been formally identified but the family of the 42-year-old has been informed.
Officers are not treating the death as suspicious and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
However, police have confirmed that enquiries remain ongoing.
A spokesperson said: "Around 11.45am on Sunday, September 15, 2024, we received a report that the body of a man had been found on Coille-eughain Hill, Luss.
"Formal identification has still to take place however the family of 42-year-old Darren Pollock reported missing from Pollok, have been informed.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal in due course.
"Enquiries remain ongoing."
