A five-star hit from the Edinburgh Fringe is set to entertain Cove Burgh Hall.
Miss Lindsay’s Secret, written by Maria MacDonell, who also stars in the play alongside Alan Finlayson, will be performed on September 20.
The play reveals the intriguing tale of a Scottish seamstress who connected rural Scotland to Canadian gold prospectors.
A museum curator discovers hidden letters that link Glenesk in Angus with the Klondike gold rush, raising the question of whether she should disclose their intimate secrets.
The narrative, based on true events, is brought to life by The Curator, The Musician, and The Man, and features original live music and archives.
Tickets can be purchased at coveburghhall.org.uk.
The play, which debuted at the Fringe in 2021 and returned in 2022, has completed a 20-date tour across the UK, reaching places as far south as Lincolnshire.
Its success has prompted another tour in 2024. Doors open at 7.15pm, with the performance starting at 8pm. The bar will also be open for the event.
