THE Friends of Geilston are delighted to welcome back the Helensburgh Oratorio Choir, which will provide the live entertainment at the latest Sunday in the Garden event this weekend.
Sunday in the Garden has become a popular regular feature at Geilston Garden and with a promising weather forecast (at least as this article was published!), the latest event, on Sunday, September 1, promises to be no different.
There will be a tea and home-made cake stall from 12 noon until 4pm, garden produce for sale, and performance by the choir at 2.30pm.
With the chance to wander round the wonderful Geilston Garden too, it all makes for a great Sunday afternoon.
A spokesperson for the Friends said: "We are so fortunate to have the support of local musicians at Sunday in the Garden providing such a lovely experience for visitors."
Meanwhile, there are a few places left for the beginners and improvers art workshop with Julia Gurney on Thursday, September 5.
This is a great opportunity to try out, or develop, watercolour painting skills in an inspirational environment with all materials provided.
