Food from around the world was mixed with a swirl of conversation and a dash of connection in Helensburgh at the weekend.
Helensburgh Community Hub's food festival aimed to bring people together to share a meal and get to know each other, and in particular to welcome new residents to the area.
Members of the Afghan and Ukrainian communities showed off their cooking skills and brought a wide range of tasty treats alongside Italian focaccia, Spanish tortilla and Scottish shortbread.
Hub Development Manager Gill Simpson said: "There was an amazing array of food that was utterly delicious. We polished off the lot!
"It was also interesting to hear about some of the dishes like the special Ukrainian bread that is served at weddings and other special occasions.
"Food is a great way to bring people together and we all had a really lovely afternoon despite the rain hammering down outside.
"This event was about welcoming everyone who is new to Helensburgh whether they have moved here from elsewhere in the UK or whether they have come from further away and in more difficult circumstances like the members of the Ukrainian and Afghan communities.
"Helensburgh is a wonderful place to live but it's a challenging thing to start a new life somewhere so the more we can do to create a sense of community for everyone the better.
"The conversations people had are already starting to create connections and more opportunities for people to get together and get involved in Helensburgh's life.
"We were delighted that so many people came along and we are very grateful for all the time and effort that went into creating such wonderful food."
