Hundreds of works of art were on display recently for the annual exhibition celebrating all that the Helensburgh area has to offer.
Helensburgh Art Club held their annual show at the Victoria Halls to great acclaim and with the help of sponsors BTO Solicitors.
The firm's Kirstine MacRae, with 30 years in the town, opened the exhibit.
Iain MacLaren, elected as new president of the club in April, said he was delighted with this year's exhibition.
He said: "Trialling something new comes with uncertainty but it has been a great success, being less onerous in resources and allowing an open and welcoming atmosphere in which visitors can browse the exhibits.
"The visitor's book is full of positive comment, and our members have made significant sales.
"It has also attracted several new members who will be able to enjoy our various classes, demonstrations and workshops over the year, and can display their work on our website's online gallery as well as in various other new exhibiting initiatives as we refresh and improve what we offer to members.”
