A five-star theatre hit from the Edinburgh Fringe is heading to Cove Burgh Hall.

Miss Lindsay’s Secret is written by and stars Maria MacDonell along with Alan Finlayson, and comes to the hall on Friday September 20.

It is the startling tale of how a Scottish seamstress linked rural Scotland to gold prospectors in Canada.

A museum curator finds hidden letters binding Glenesk in Angus with the Klondike gold rush - but should she tell their intimate secrets?

It is a true tale of sewing and 1900s 'sexting', revealed in the play by The Curator, The Musician and The Man.

Original live music and archives bring the past to the present, and Scotland to the rest of the world.

Doors open 7.15pm and the performance starts at 8pm. There's a raffle and bar - no BYOB, please.

Tickets are £12.50 and available at www.coveburghhall.org.uk or check out the 'Cove Burgh Hall' page on Facebook.
