A NEW term is set to start soon to celebrate and encourage the area's writers.
Helensburgh Writers' Workshop will hold their first meeting of the autumn on September 9 at The Bridge.
The club said the first session will be an "open night" and members are encouraged to bring their work in progress.

All are welcome to Helensburgh Parish Church Halls from 7.30pm to 9.30pm on Monday, September 9.
The award-winning writers' group marked 50 years in 2022 and continues to encourage more authors to try the benefits of crafting and sharing their creative work.
