Helensburgh's star dancer has taken yet more trophies and titles around the world this summer.

Eilidh Gammons has added to her wins since moving up in age and competing as a 16-year-old from North America to Britain.

The Margaret Rose School of Dance pupil this summer won the 16 years and over category and was part of the group choreography winners at the Kamloops Highland Games in British Columbia.

In Boston, she was the 15 and under 18 solo choreography winner, the 16 years premiership winner and the 16 and under 18 years open champion.

At the Emerald Isle Open Championship, she was the 16/17 years national winner, the 16 years and over choreography runner-up, the 16/17 years open champion, and the 16 years and over national winner.

She was the 16/17 years winner and overall winner at the Inverkeithing Highland Games and the 15/16 years winner and overall winner at the Bridge of Allan games.

At the Killin Highland Games, she was the 14 and under 17 years winner.

And at the British Championships, she was the 16/17 years British open champion, 16/17 national winner, 15 and over Willie Law Memorial Jig final runner-up and the Argyllshire winner.

Instructor Margaret MacInnes said: "British Champion, Emerald Isle champion, North American Champion and many more - an incredible achievement.

"Eilidh continues travelling the world putting the Margaret Rose School of Dance and Helensburgh on the map.

"Eilidh is an incredible student who works hard, continues to push herself to be the best she can be and is looking forward to Bute, Commonwealth and the World Championship in the next few weeks."
