A NEW GROUP is set to start for keen machine knitters in Helensburgh and Lomond.
The first meeting of the Helensburgh Machine Knitting Club will take place on September 13 at the Bridge in Helensburgh Parish Church between 1.30-3.30pm.
The group will then meet on the second Saturday from September to December then February to May.
Membership will be £20 for four months, payable at the first meeting by cash.
The aim of the new group is to encourage and support machine knitters in Helensburgh.
Organisers say that suggestions for the programme will be welcomed by members.
