YOUNG people in Helensburgh and Lomond are being invited to take part in a summer holiday poetry and drawing competition.
Younger pupils (those going into P1-P3) can enter a drawing, and those going into P4-P7 are invited to submit a poem.
The theme is 'What made me smile this summer?'
Entries should be on a single sheet of A4 paper. For poem entries, the border can be decorated but will not be judged.
Entries should be submitted to Helensburgh Library by Wednesday, August 28.
A prize-giving will be held in the library after the entries have been judged, and all the entries will go on display in the library afterwards.
