The famous RNLI Scroll arrived at Helensburgh lifeboat station last week as it made its way across the UK.
The scroll, which was made by the charity’s craftsmen, started its journey on March 4 at Westminster Abbey as part of the RNLI's 200th anniversary celebrations.
It will eventually visit and be signed at every one of the charities' 240 lifeboat stations in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
On the scroll is the RNLI’s One Crew pledge, in which volunteers promise to continue saving everyone they can for the next 200 years.
The scroll arrived at Helensburgh lifeboat station on July 24 and was signed by two members of RNLI Helensburgh.
One was Ken Miller, helm and the longest serving member of Helensburgh lifeboat’s volunteer crew. Ken had his first shout in 1989.
Dinkie Fairley signed the scroll on behalf of the Helensburgh volunteer fundraisers. Dinkie is the longest serving member of the fundraising team after joining in 1985.
Howard Morrison, Lifeboat Operations Manager, said: "‘We were delighted to welcome the 200th Anniversary scroll to Helensburgh and for our representatives and station to be recorded as a permanent and enduring part of the charity’s history.’
