A LEISURE trust in Argyll and Bute have introduced a new family wellbeing toolbox for their staff.

LiveArgyll are investing in their staff's mental health by partnering with social enterprise Wee Seeds to introduce the Mini-Minds Wellbeing Toolbox.

This programme of visual and audio mindfulness exercises for children is all about bringing calm and connection to families across the area.

The toolbox also offers top tips to support children, online support and an access to a community using Wee Seeds.

Paul Ashworth, services and support manager for liveArgyll, said: "Our partnership with Wee Seeds emphasises our commitment to promoting health and wellbeing.

"As part of our investment in our employees’ mental health, we have adopted a holistic family approach, empowering our staff to assist their children by providing access to the Wee Seeds Mini-Minds Wellbeing Toolbox."

LiveArgyll will also contribute to Wee Seeds' social impact programme Growing Good, which will support families in poverty or struggling with their mental health to nurture their mental well-being.

Christina Cran, founder of Wee Seeds said: ‘We believe it's time for employers to take a whole family approach to mental health.

"All the areas of our life, work, home, social life, intersect with each other. By working on having a calm family environment at home, we can improve all areas of our life.

"Calm families, equal calm staff. That's why we're delighted to support liveArgyll with their staff and their families’ wellbeing.

"Our Mini-Minds Toolbox is designed to help shape the mental health of the next generation. The mental health crisis starts with our children, it's time we tackle that early."
