A TEENAGER went on a criminal "grand tour" of Scotland, including breaching NINE bail orders, before ending up in Helensburgh.
Brandon Mackie-Fleming, who had just turned 18, was on three bail orders from Ayr Sheriff Court and six from Dumbarton Sheriff Court when he committed a further offence in Helensburgh.
On September 26, 2023, at Tesco in Sinclair Street, he acted aggressively towards a member of staff and uttered threats of violence towards him.
The court in Dumbarton was told Mackie-Fleming had been put on court-imposed curfew restrictions last year - but had breached the instructions on December 9 and 12 by being outside his address on West Clyde Street during the the hours of the curfew.
Mackie-Fleming returned to Dumbarton Sheriff Court for sentencing on July 23, when his solicitor, Scott Adair, said his client had been released from custody and was now under the eye of Stirling Council.
Mr Adair said Mackie-Fleming had been put on community payback orders at Ayr Sheriff Court recently with 12 months of social work supervision and a requirement to do 90 hours of unpaid work in the community.
Sheriff William Gallacher said: "He has clearly done a grand tour of Scotland."
Mr Adair said his client was in Helensburgh, went to Ayr for a trip, and has since decided to remove himself from trouble in Helensburgh.
The sheriff told Mackie-Fleming, previously of West Princes Street: "You burst on to the criminal courts with quite an outburst. I would quite like for you to have finished.
"There is support ongoing for you - you need to make use of that."
Sentence was deferred until November 27.
