The crew of Helensburgh's lifeboat hosted a fun day for their families last weekend.
Relatives got together at Helensburgh Sailing Club for a barbecue and a variety of fun activities.
Youngsters were treated to bouncy castles, hot dogs, ice creams, slush puppies and plenty of goodies.
Everyone attempted to enjoy the summer weather, despite the thick clouds, during the afternoon with the crew taking their turn as chefs for the barbecue.
Crew member Neil Bowman, organiser of the event, said “It was great to see so many of our crew and their families enjoying the day.
"The fun day was a way of saying a special thank you to all our families who support us to help save lives at sea.
"Thank you to Helensburgh Sailing Club and everyone who donates to the RNLI and Helensburgh lifeboat.”
