KIND-HEARTED locals are being asked to help out at the next beach clean in Helensburgh.
The event, organised by Helensburgh Community Council and Plastic Free Helensburgh, will take place on Saturday, July 27 from 10am.
Participants are asked to meet at the pier slipway in the town. Equipment will be provided by organisers, but volunteers are asked to bring suitable gloves.
A representative from the community council said: "We look forward to as many of our volunteers as can make it.
"New volunteers are welcome to join us. Even if you can only manage 30 minutes come along, it all makes a difference."
