Arts and crafts are set for several outings in the area over the coming weeks.

Helensburgh and Lomond Artisans Association (HLAA) are holding two Summer Fairs on July 13 and 27, they have announced.

As well as Hermitage Park, the group will visit Luss for the first time.

Organisers recently marked their 10th year together with a birthday fair on June 8 at The Bridge.

Next week, on July 13, the Park Pavilion in Hermitage Park will host a fair between 11am and 2pm.

Then on July 27, they will hold their first ever craft fair at the Village Hall in Luss.

Organisers said: "We're excited to bring our crafters to the beautiful village of Luss, on the shores of Loch Lomond, so that a new audience can experience an HLAA craft fair.

"As ever, there'll be a combination of fantastic gifts, beautiful arts and the friendship of makes all set in the beautiful village of Luss - a great day out."

Organisers told the Advertiser: "This was a busy fair with lots of new customers, a pop-up tea room and a raffle for CHAS.

"We added another £163 to our collection for Robin House bringing our total this year so far to £589. But we have not stopped. We have a busy summer ahead of us.

"We start the first of five special Midsummer Fairs at Hermitage Park Pavilion. We will have a lovely selection of art work, sewing, photography and gifts on sale.

"There will be a further fairs on July 21 and 31 and then August 10 and 17.

"Later this month we are trying a new venue for the summer and heading up the road to Luss. We have organised a late summer fair at Luss Village Hall on July 27.

"Doors will be open from 10 until 3 and entry is free.

"Once again we will have a lovely selection of art work, baby knits, glass art, cards, wooden gifts and pictures, sewing and much more."
