AN award-winning brewery from the bonnie banks is in the running to be named as the Scottish Brewery of the Year.
The Loch Lomond Brewery has been named as a finalist in a staggering 11 categories in the 2024 Scottish Beer Awards.
They will now go to head with four other breweries across Scotland for the prestigious title of brewery of the year.
The business started in the Luss kitchen of husband and wife team Euan and Fiona Maceachern, who had a double dream to brew quality beer and create a successul family business.
The brewery is now based near Dumbarton and has a taproom which opened in October 2022.
They have been named as a finalist in the following categories:
Best British Style Ale: West Highland Way, Bonnie and Blonde
Best IPA (5.6% - 7.4%): Moonhop
Best Juicy or Hazy Beer: Devil's Pulpit, Moonhop
Best Lager: High Road
Best Pale Ale: Stag Do
Best Pilsner: Helles Glen, Safe Surfer
Best Porter or Stout: Silkie Stout
Best Session Beer: Lost in Mosaic
Best Speciality Beer: Bravehop Dark
Best Strong Beer: Lost Monster
They're up against 71 Brewing, Fierce Beer, Stewart Brewing and Williams Bros Brewing Co for the 'brewery of the year' prize.
The awards dinner and ceremony will take place on Wednesday, September 11, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Glasgow Central.
