A HELENSBURGH orchestra will be giving a special performance at an event in Cardross this weekend.
The Friends of Geilston will be welcoming the Lomond and Clyde Community Orchestra to the next event in its Sunday in the Garden series on July 7.
The Friends' tea stall, which will also serve homemade cake, will be open from 12 noon to 4pm, and the orchestra will be playing around 2.30pm.
The popular summer open-air performances kicked off in May with a performance by Helensburgh choir Tartan Harmony in the grounds of the popular Cardross attraction.
And for those who like their singing 'al fresco', there's more choral entertainment coming up when the Helensburgh Oratorio Choir peform at Sunday in the Garden on September 1.
Before then, booking is also now open for the Friends' monthly 'Mindfulness Meander', taking place on Wednesday, July 10 at 1pm.
Wendy Alexander, local mindfulness expert, will lead an hour-long meander through the tranquil Geilston garden utilising various sensory approaches to enhance awareness of the environment and achieve a sense of wellbeing.
Admission is £7.50 plus National Trust Scotland (NTS) garden entry fee, which means entry is free to NTS members and £1 for Young Scot card holders.
