A DOG was killed in a high-and-run incident on Monday, police report.
The chocolate Labrador ran out into Old Luss Road near the County Lodge Hotel in Helensburgh around 2am on June 24.
Police said the light-coloured vehicle struck the animal, killing it, and drove off.
Officers said they were working to establish the full circumstances of the incident and are appealing for information. Anyone who can assist is asked to call 101 or Crimestoppers.
