A coffee morning helped raise hundreds of pounds to help children caught up in the war in Gaza.
The Helensburgh Child Contact Centre raised £713 to help children's charity Unicef in its work in the war-torn strip.
A spokesperson for the group told the Advertiser: "After months of intense hostilities in Palestine, tens of thousands of people have been killed, 70 per cent of whom are women and children.
"The killing of children and families taking shelter in Rafah, most of them now further displaced, is deeply depressing. There are no safe spaces in Gaza.
"Unicef is working in Gaza alongside its partners and local communities to deliver lifesaving supplies and services."
The Contact Centre provides a safe, neutral, welcoming environment where estranged parents can spend time with their children.
It is open at the Bridge at Helensburgh Parish Church on Saturdays.
The focus is to help improve the lives of children in the area, and the centre's volunteers wanted to do something to help children in Gaza.
Stalls for the coffee morning included "guess the weight of the cake", with a rich fruit cake baked by volunteer June O'Neil.
Marion Farrell won with a guess of 5lbs 10oz, closest to the actual weight of 5lbs 6oz.
