A FREE family event promoting safety on the water is being held at Loch Lomond Shores next week.
Organised by Water Safety Scotland in support of World Drowning Prevention Day, the event aims to raise awareness of the public health issue of drowning and highlight means of drowning prevention.
The charity, along with partners such as Scottish Water, SFRS, The Darcey Sunshine Foundation and RoSPA, will be hosting the open day on Thursday, July 25 from 11am to 4pm.
A spokesperson said: "No matter the weather, this day will be a fun and educational event for the whole family. So, pack your raincoat and your sunglasses and come down to enjoy the water and learn about water safety."
